Former Australian galloper Eclair Mystic is the only late entry for Singapore’s feature sprint, the $1 million Krisflyer International Sprint (1200m) on May 20.
He is now locally trained by Patrick Shaw, who also trains likely favourite and crowd hero Rocket Man.
The son of Stratum finished unplaced at his Kranji debut on the Polytrack over 1100m on April 20. He is down to run second-up this Sunday in an Open Benchmark 97 Handicap over 1200m.
Formerly with Robert Smerdon at Caulfield, Eclair Mystic has won six of his twelve starts, with a further three minor placings.
This includes a win in the Listed Zeditave Stakes (1200m) on Australia Day last year, while he was placed in the Group 3 Standish Handicap (1200m) and the Group 2 Autumn Stakes (1400m)
He finished his career with Smerdon running an uninspiring last in a Group 1 in Macau last November.
